There is also research that relates to children that have amnesia. This type of research is similar to memory lapses, just that the person has forgotten many things that they can recall. Again, this happens in dreams and in very dark places, but sometimes you will find that these memories are real.Another example of a character's past or present and possible future is research that deals with the origin of human DNA. The major storyline is the discovery of the gene sequence. These studies may have interesting aspects of scientific research, but many of them deal with the formation of life.Reading this list of research topics can provide a great starting point for the student writing a short story.
